Loved loved loved the food at Le Bouillon. My favorite dish was the fresh onion soup. There was a different flare to the soup. It added an extra flavor to the dish but still kept it traditional. I will be back just for the soup. We also enjoyed the stuff duck, which was amazing. The skin was crispy and stuffed with sauage. Yum. The last dish was the Morgan Ranch Strip. A lot of flavor and cooked to perfection. A wonderful experience overall and the staffing was extremely nice. My favorite part was the wine store connected to the restaurant. You can buy a bottle and just pay the cork fee.
Had an amazing meal on Friday! Love that you can walk around and actually look at the wine and pick out what you want. The system they have set up makes it less expensive and gives you a chance to try new things. The service was great & the caviar with the chips…amazing.
Went to a private dinner here the other evening and wasn't sure what to expect. Wow! Did they know their stuff! They clearly love food and wine and care about the preservation of the Old Market as well as historical facts and the arts!
I am not a wine fan but I finished each glass and enjoyed them all. Dinner was also flawless! Would highly recommend!
Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Orpheum. It was a weekday so not busy at all, service was excellent. Chicken liver PB&J was recommended and didn't disappoint. It's a very unique canape to start the meal with. We also shared a French Onion soup that was tasty but a little saltier than I prefer. I'm not going to fault the restaurant for my preference. Both meals were excellent and we both agreed we would have been happy with either meal. She ordered a hanger steak with root vegetable au gratin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The root vegetable au gratin was extra tasty! Chicken Roulade was almost like comfort food with a garden pea, pearl onion, cabbage & pancetta gravy. We were both too full for dessert but enjoyed an espresso after the meal. While not our favorite French restaurant in town, we definitely left happy.
I went here with my family for a quick brunch, nothing ridiculous. we walked in and our orders were taken within 10 minutes and order eggs, bread, and bacon. we did not get our food for another hour. We saw our waitress once and that was when she took our order. after it took an hour for our food to come out, my family and I were incredibly disappointed. the eggs were cold, the bacon was extremely fatty and the bread was stale. if you want to go to a brunch place and actually enjoy your meal, I do not recommend this place. The price does NOT match the food.
Three out of five dishes were salty. The duck, the French onion soup, the rotisserie chicken were incredibly salty. We had to send the duck back, it was too much. The mussels were okay but I’ve had better. The red and white wine selection provided by our wonderful server, Robert were excellent. We even bought one of the bottles to take home. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant
The steak tartare was to die for, and don't pass on the duck. I truly enjoyed picking out a bottle of wine next door that was reasonably priced that paired perfect with our meal.
We celebrated this beautiful couples memorable evening at this establishment.
Our dinner choices were Duck, Steak, and Chicken (I requested chicken). The manager made sure everything was taken care of as she was involved in every detail …
